About Me

Rishi is a serious photography hobbyist…

I am a serious photography hobbyist (to be honest, I DO smile occasionally). I love taking images of unsuspecting friends & family, and then putting them up on the net without their permission. This makes me feel supremely important, and helps me temporarily forget how insignificant I am. Occasionally, when particularly depressed, I occasionally also take images of inanimate objects, and try passing them off as ‘creative tabletop photography.’

I AM very serious about my photography. That does not necessarily make me good at it, but it does make me one hell of a learner.

While most of my learning on the subject has been through the vast resources that the internet provides people like me, I’ve always wanted a site that actually helps me work back or work through other people’s work, hand-holding me through the entire process of creating an image.

So, while my work might not be magazine-cover material yet, I am sure the walk-throughs would help you if you are not too far away from me on the learning curve – by detailing out processes, alerting you about mistakes, giving you ideas about photography projects, and pointing you to other awesome photography resources online.

You can keep a tab on my photography by visiting my ever-expanding and (hopefully ever improving) photostream on flickr.
